The 2 ways to obtain clearances are summarized below. PAWest KidSafe Clearance The KidSafe clearance costs $10 and is good for 2 years. The process is completed online and provides quick turn around. To apply for a KidSafe Clearance go to PA WEST e-KidSafe OR: * Go to the PAWest website - PAWest * From the Coaches menu, choose Risk Management * Select "Click Here to Enter the PA West... System" * Complete online application - choose Mt. Lebanon for Member Club PA Act 33/34 Clearance PA Act 33/34 clearances are accepted by other organizations. The reporting procedure used in Act 33/34 may offer more privacy but the turnaround may be longer and the process is more cumbersome. PAWest will accept an Act 33/34 clearance that is up to 2 years old. If you have a valid clearance, send a copy to the MLSA office (conceal your SS#).
