Mt. Lebanon Soccer: 3-Mile Mission – Running Program
Program Overview:
Mt. Lebanon Soccer is proud to introduce 3-Mile Mission, an inclusive running program designed to complement our existing Body Wellness Program. Open to 5th grade players through adults, this program aims to build endurance, confidence, and a lifelong appreciation for fitness through structured and supportive running sessions.
Whether you’re looking to improve your soccer stamina, train for your first race, or simply develop a healthier lifestyle, 3-Mile Mission is for you!
Program Highlights:
- Who Can Join:
Players in 5th grade and up, including adults and parents - Season Length:
5 to 6 weeks
1–2 sessions per week (schedule based on group availability and weather) - Leadership:
Led by experienced and trained runners who will coach, motivate, and shepherd all participants at their own pace - Program Goals:
- Introduce or improve running fundamentals
- Build cardiovascular endurance and mental resilience
- Encourage teamwork and community across age groups
- Prepare participants for an optional celebratory run
- Final Goal Race (Optional):
Brookline Breeze 5K Run
A fun and local event that gives participants the chance to complete their “mission” alongside fellow teammates and runners in the community
Cost & Inclusions:
- Cost: $55 per participant
- Includes:
- All training sessions
- 3-Mile Mission training guide
- Group support and expert coaching
- Motivation, accountability, and fun!
- Entry information and training prep for the Brookline Breeze (Entry Fee is separate from your Registration Fee)
